Since 1974, Peter Dingman has been practicing law in Virginia, specializing in private and commercial real estate matters.

Peter helps clients navigate complex legal documentation with services that include negotiating, drafting, and interpreting contracts, deeds, and loan documents, as well as reviewing and analyzing title issues. He offers assistance with transactions and with forming limited liability companies and other ownership vehicles. Peter also advises commercial real estate owners, closely held entities, individuals, and fiduciaries.

If necessary, Peter handles related litigation—always seeking cost-effective resolutions which serve client interests.

For over 30 years, Peter has been a volunteer with the Virginia State Bar disciplinary system, serving a term as Chair of the Disciplinary Board (which has authority to suspend or revoke a lawyer’s license) and more recently as Chair of the Committee on Lawyer Discipline (which has responsibility for oversight of the disciplinary process). He is currently serving on the faculty of the Virginia State Bar Harry Carrico Professionalism Course.
